The 7.3 Beta Program What is the Beta Program about? • Opportunity to offer SIRWA members to install and use the latest version of the Sage Intelligence Reporting (SIR) product prior to the official release • Enable SIRWA members to provide valuable feedback on improvements made in version 7.3 as well as general comments on their experience • SIR 7.3 is a non-integrated stand-alone product. Sage Product Integrations will begin to take place in the 2nd quarter of 2013

The 7.3 Beta Program Feedback Platform • SIRWA members will receive an invitation to join the Sage Intelligence Reporting 7.3 Beta Group on the BI Community • This group will be the primary means of communication for the Beta Program • Sage Intelligence Reporting 7.3 Beta Group will provide you with all the information required to participate in the Beta Program including the Installer location, Release Notes and Feedback Forms

The 7.3 Beta Program Beta Program Timelines • The Sage Intelligence Reporting 7.3 Beta program will run from the 18th December 2012 to the 21st January 2013. • Members will be able to begin testing and providing feedback at any time during the Beta program. 18th SIR 7.3 BETA start 21st SIR 7.3 BETA ends Integrated Solutions (Projected)

  14. What is new in 7.3? Usability Improvements • The Sage Intelligence Reporting 7.3 release is focused on usability improvements. The Report Manager and Connector Modules boast a new ribbon feature with informative icons and labels for each function aiding users in easily identifying and accessing the features that they require.

  19. Sage Intelligence Sage 300 ERP Report Designer Add-In BETA

  20. The Sage 300 ERP RDA Beta Program Improved Reporting Flexibility • The Sage 300 ERP Report Designer Add-In has been created to allow users to take control of all aspects of their report designs and layouts in Excel in a simple fashion, that alsocaters for users with complex reporting needs. • The Add-In allows users to create reports using the new In Memory functionality which enhances performance and allows large volumes of financial data to be processed very quickly. When using the Report Designer Add-In, smaller sets of data are retrieved from the database and GL accounts use simple formulas, thus resulting in the reports running out quicker with only the relevant data retrieved. • The Report Designer Add-In allows users to select the data and formulas from a task pane within Excel that is relevant to the report that they are building. • Users can now easily create cash flow, multi-currency, multi-year and multi-budgets reports as well as a variety of the standard accounting reports.

The Sage 300 RDA Beta Program What is the Beta Program about? • Opportunity to offer SIRWA members to install and use the latest version of the Sage 300 ERP Report Designer Add-In software prior to the official release • Enable SIRWA members to provide valuable feedback about the Sage 300 ERP Report Designer Add-In software as well as general comments on their experience • Allow SIRWA members to be early adopters of latest Sage 300 Intelligence offering

The Sage 300 ERP RDA Beta Program Feedback Platform • SIRWA members will receive an invitation to join the Sage 300 ERP Report Designer Add-In Beta Program from Sage US team • Kick off meeting planned for 19 /20th December 2013 • We will provide you with all the information required to participate in the Beta Program including the Installer location, Release Notes and Feedback Forms

The Sage 300 ERP RDA Beta Program Beta Program Timelines • The Sage 300 ERP RDA Beta program will run from the 18th December 2012 to the 15th January 2013. • Members will be able to begin testing and providing feedback at any time during the Beta program. 15th Sage 300 ERP RDA BETA ends 19/20 th Sage 300 ERP RDA BETA start Release to Market

  24. The Sage 300 ERP RDA Beta Program Lists • Lists in the Task Pane allow users to drag and drop the required lists e.g. Accounts list into the report. The user has the flexibility to delete any unwanted data in the list in the spreadsheet.

  25. The Sage 300 ERP RDA Beta Program Formulas • Formulas in the Task Pane allow users to drag and drop the required formulas into their report. The user can also use the Insert Function to retrieve the RDA formulas. The formulas are linked to Accounts, Current Period, Company etc to retrieve the appropriate financial information.

  26. The Sage 300 ERP RDA Beta Program Drilldown Functionality • Users will have the ability to right click on a value in a cell and select the Drill Down option on the Excel menu. This will show the transactions associated with the value in a separate worksheet.
