  5. I count the cost of Anger “A hot-tempered man stirs up strife” Pr.15:18 “He who has a quick temper displays folly” 14:29 “A quick-tempered man acts foolishly” Pro.14:17 “He who troubles his own house will inherit the wind.” Pro. 11:29 anger D

  6. Anger Resentment, wrath, indignation, fury, rage “A strong feeling excited by real or supposed injury; often accompanied by a desire to take vengeance, or to obtain satisfaction from the offending party.”

Think before throwing a Tantrum “A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.” Pro. 29:11 ESV • Keeps under control • Child needs correction = “time out” • “When you get angry, count to ten. When you are really angry, count to a hundred.” • “Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.” Pr. 19:11 Delay

  8. Need to communicate my Anger "Be angry, and do not sin” Eph. 4:26 NKJV Is all anger sin? NO ! “A fool vents all his feelings, But a wise man holds them back.” Pro. 29:11 NKJV Psychologists tell us to get it off our chest ! Problem – it does not work !

  9. Must Retrain my Mind “be transformed by the renewing of your mind” Romans 12:2 The way you act is determined by the way you feel. Feelings are changed by your thinking ! Transform = “metamorphoo” - change

  10. Associate with people who manage their anger “Do not make friends with a hot-tempered man, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn his ways and get yourself ensnared.” Pro. 22:24 Anger is contagious Fellowship / friends with Christians Helps
