  7. 5% of the Flexi fund • Can be provided for the plantation of Urban Garden, Fruit trees such as Papaya, Banana etc..

  8. Best Practices followed in the UT of Daman & Diu • SMS Based Automated Monitoring System has been implemented in UT of Daman & Diu. • Incinerators have been installed in each Govt. Upper primary Schools and the provision for Vending Machine Sanitary Napkins have been made free of cost in each schools. • Standard Menu from Health Department with required nutrition and as per local meal is implemented from the year 2018-19.

Best Practices followed in the UT of Daman & Diu • All Schools - have Gas based cooking. - have separate toilets for Girls. - have R.O. plant for Drinking water. • The Honorarium of Cook cum Helper enhance from Rs.1000/-per month to Rs.3721/-per month (Rs.155.05 per day of average 24 days i.e.) with effect from June 2018. The UT of Daman & Diu releases whole honorarium for the month of April every year from UT Grant. • Printed MDM Menu and Logo displayed in all schools.

  10. Best Practices followed in the UT of Daman & Diu • Additional Items i.e. Lapsi (Once a week), Sukhdi (Once a week) and Banana (Trice a week) are being provided to the children. • TithiBhojan has been provided by the Donors atleast once in every month to each school of UT Daman & Diu. • Kitchen Garden has been made in some schools in the UT of Daman & Diu.
