2. Identity of the organization • The Arges Businessmen Association is a non-governmental and non-profit organization, created at the initiative of a group of important companies from Pitesti, having the purpose to contribute at the development of local economic environment.

Identity of the organization • The main activity of the Arges Businessmen Association consists in helping the to develop the social and business environment, representing the members, organizing business meetings in different forms to stimulate investment in the county, organizing training courses. • the development of economic environment through educations, entrepreneurship and networking • empowerment of young people and their ability to participate actively in society • need to provide youth organizations and youth workers with training and cooperation opportunities

5. External Funds projects - PROJECTS: • AS A BENEFICIARY – European Funds: 1. Implemented the project, in partnership with ADES Curtea de Arges, entitled "Access to Information and Education for Top Managers and Front Line Managers", carried out between 02.12.2008-30.11.2009 AOA AG, its target group consisted of senior and line managers / departments of the companies members of AOA AG. Budget line: PHARE 2006/018-147.04.02 General objective: To increase the competitiveness and adaptability of human resources companies in Arges county. Specific objective: To develop managerial skills of key personnel companies in the county of Arges. Results: In the 14 training courses were enrolled a total of 523 participants from 52 companies in Arges county, but they were attended by 294 people and graduated 286. All results of specific objectives and the overall objective were achieved, one of the indicators being exceeded by approx. 24% to the project.

External Funds projects - PROJECTS: • AS A PARTNER: 1.Constantin Brancoveanu University from Pitesti - (Beneficiary) and The Arges County Businessmen Association (Partner) implemented PHARE 2005 - "Active measures for employment" - Young unemployed today, future specialist - Manager of tomorrow. Budget line - PHARE/2005/017-553.04.02 Year obtain financing: 2007 The project goal was to facilitate access of young people unemployed in the county of Arges to get employed through training and information. The target group was made up of unemployed young people, aged between 15 and 24 years, looking for a job in Arges county.

7. We have implemented a Leonardo da Vinci – Transfer of Innovation (as a partner) which aims to promote “ Integration of Organisational and Lifelong Learning Culture in the Labour Practice of Small and Medium Enterprises”. 2011-2013 • Between 01.10.2012-30.09.2014 we have implemented a LDV TOI project aiming to develop the skills of Apprentices, LSAs or equivalent, in organisations (e.g. educational establishments), who are trainees or are employed to offer support to young people who experience difficulties (e.g. physical / sensory difficulties; learning difficulties; emotional / behavioural difficulties) and who aspire to access vocational training and / or experience. • From 01.01.2013 we will be implementing of an LDV DOI project “The European Technology Transfer Agent”, this will help the interested parties (universities and research centers on one side, and firms on the other one) to turn a research result or prototype into a commercial product.

External Funds projects – ONGOING PROJECT: AS A BENEFICIARY: • The Arges County Businessmen Association (Beneficiary) is in the sixth month of implementation of the Project entitled "Action for Employment - a Further Chance in the Labor Market - HOME“ Program under which it is financed: Human Resources Development Operational Programme ESF 2007-2013 Budget line: POSDRU/101/5.1/G/78175 Ongoing period: 02.05.2011-01.05.2013   The overall objective: to increase the employment rate in the region and facilitating South Muntenia labor market integration of unemployed, inactive or people seeking employment. • Starting December 2012 we are implementing a Leonardo da Vinci – Transfer of Innovation (as a partner) which aims to promote “ Integration of Organizational and Lifelong Learning Culture in the Labour Practice of Small and Medium Enterprises”.
