  4. What do we do? • Schedule your classes • Help with a variety of problems: • Conflicts • Locker • Friends • Family • Bus …And anything else that you might need help with 

  6. Recognition Programs -Target Tickets -Creek Club -Citizenship Assemblies • These programs are designed to recognize and applaud students who are “caught being good” and doing the right thing.

  7. The School Day • School begins at 7:40 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. • Students may enter the main hall and classroom wings at 7:30. • Before 7:30 students may wait in the side hallways

  8. School Breakfasts & Lunches • Breakfast starts at 7:20 in the cafeteria. • There are 3 lunch periods. • You will be eating with only sixth graders. • Sixth grade lunch is 12:05-12:30 but could change. • 3 options for your lunch: • Bring your own lunch. • Buy separate items- chips, salad, ice cream, etc. • Buy a hot lunch or salad.

  9. Lockers • Pick up locker assignment during schedule pick up. • Use ONLY your assigned locker. • DO NOT give your locker combination to any other students! • Your locker will be located in the same hallway as most of your classes.

  10. LockerBasics You each get a shelf You each get a side hook You will share the middle hooks Imaginary Line You each get a side at the Bottom.

  11. Buses • You will not need to run to catch your bus. • During the first few weeks of school we will allow extra time for students to get to their buses. • Middle and High School students ride together • Know your address!

  12. Intramural Sports Basketball Bowling Dodge Ball Student Council Fun Nights Drama Club Quiz Bowl Science Olympiad Odyssey of the Mind Clubs & Activities

  13. 6th grade students will be able to participate with 7th and 8th graders in individual school sports • bowling • cross country • track and field • swimming and diving • wrestling

  14. Cellphones • Must be turned off and put away • 1st offense – 1 hour detention • 2nd offense – 2 hour detention, parent must pick up phone • Dress Code • Shorts/skirts/dresses finger tip length • Tank tops 3 inches across shoulder • No see through shirts or crop tops

  15. WEB Where Everyone Belongs Survivor Camp • A MUST for ALL incoming 6th gr. students • Have Fun • Get to know 8th grade students • August 22nd • Day camp offered for a fee • Practice opening locker, going through lunch line, get to know teachers and make new friends
