  3. January OCAK • January is the first month of the year. • January is one of the coldest months.

  4. FebruaryŞUBAT • February 14th is Valentine’s Day. • February is the shortest month. • I love February because the semester holiday is in February.

  5. March MART • Spring starts in March. • Every March, we have a scientific camp for two weeks at school. • She will finish school in March. • We will be living in Japan next March.

  6. AprilNİSAN • April is the first month of spring. •  Children's holiday is in April. • I stopped smoking in April last year. • We will have finished the project in April.

  7. May MAYIS • She was born in May with some health problems. • The film was released in May. • After the film had been released in May, 10.000 people watched it. • I will send her some flowers on her birthday in May.

  17. Temmuz ayında partiye gitti. ==> She went to a party in July. . Ağustos ayı çok sıcak. ==> August is very hot. . Eylül ayında okullar açılıyor. ==> Schools open in September. . Ekim ayında Ankara'ya gideceğim. ==> I am going to Ankara in October. . Kasım ayını çok severim. ==> I like November. . Aralık ayından nefret eder. ==> He hates December.

  18. Ay ve Günleri Okuma • Türkiye'de tarihi gün / ay / yıl sıralaması ile yazarız. Avrupa ülkelerinde de bu şekildedir. Ancak Amerika'da, tarih yazılırken ay, günden önce (ay / gün / yıl) yazılıyor. • Normal:     22/11/2002 • Amerikan:  11/22/2002

  19. Ayın günü söylenirken sıra sayıları kullanılır.

  20. Özellikle Amerikan İngilizcesinde, hızlıca söylemek için sadece kaçıncı ay ve kaçıncı gün olduğu sayılar ile söylenebiliyor. Buna en güzel örnek de 11 Eylül tarihidir. 11 Eylül,  9/11 olarak yazılır ve "nine eleven" olarak söylenir.

  34. AUTUMN SONBAHAR •  I can fly a kite in the fall. • When it’s spring in the Southern hemisphere, it’s fall in the Northern hemisphere. • September, October and November are autumn months.

  35. WINTER KIŞ • We can build a snowman in the winter. • New Year is in the winter. •  December, January and February are winter months.
