Survey Activity • The Joint Commission Point of Service Lab Survey • December 7-11 • 25 laboratories and services at 5 locations • College of American Pathologists (CAP) Lab Survey • Two-day comprehensive inspection of laboratory services at CSC, East and West Clinics • CAP is accrediting body for main UWHC Clinical Laboratories

  4. Survey Activity- continued • AABB Transfusion Services Survey • Formerly known as the American Association of Blood Banks • Transfusion Services including the Blood Bank, Perioperative Cell Salvage and Apheresis

  5. Accreditation • Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) three year accreditation of UWHC Inpatient Rehabilitation programs

  6. Updates • Mid-December Storm • H1N1 Response • Haiti Response

  7. National Recognition • UWHC named a Stage 7 Award winner for highest level of electronic health record adoption
