  2. John F. Kennedy John F. Kennedy is an Hero in many people’s eye’s in more than one reason. He wasn’t just an American President, he was a father, a husband, and a war hero.

  3. Presidency • JFK (John Fitzgerald Kennedy) was the 35th President of the United States. • He served from 1961 until his untimely assassination in 1963.

  4. War Life • He was an Commander of the Motor Torpedo Boats during World War II. • He served his country from 1941 to 1945. • Some of the metals he was awarded during his service are: Purple Heart, World War II Victory Medal, and the American Defense Service Medal

  5. Senate • In 1952, he defeated Republican Henry C. Lodge, Jr. for the U.S. Senate. • In 1956 at the Democratic National Convention Kennedy was nominated for the role as Vice President.

  6. Presidential election • In 1960 JFK ran against Hubert Humphrey of Minnesota and Senator Wayne Morse Champion Who will win?

  7. Family • Kennedy married Jacqueline Bouvier on September 12, 1953 at St. Mary's Church, Newport, Rhode Island.

  8. John and Jacqueline had four kids together. Arabella K Caroline B John F., Jr Patrick B

  10. Facts • John was the second youngest president • The first president born in the 20th century • Was the only catholic president • Won the Pulitzer prize • His famous quote is ‘Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country',

  11. Assassination • John was assassinated on November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas. . Lee Harvey Oswald was charged with the assassination but never made it to his trial, he was shot down two days later by Jack Ruby.
