Alternate Assessment Information • Resource Guide • Performance Level Descriptors • Cut Scores • Each item is rated based on performance level descriptors by 3 people, beginning with barely proficient • Then discussion about each item • Next items are rated again • Another discussion • Final rating and recommendations • Example, if 4 of the 30 items were rated as distinguished then the cut for Distinguished would be around 26 items.
