  1. View 2: This view begins to portray how the gallery’s spaces are arranged and how this arrangement is connected to the urban context of the site. Also, the main circulation paths are visible showing how they extend from the building to the bordering streets and beyond. View 1: This view indicates the context of the site in relation to the surrounding buildings, roads, and the river.

  2. View 3 This view shows the immediate context of the site including MIAD, the park and the main pedestrian path on Broadway. Also, the height of the gallery compared to the adjacent building on Broadway is more clear which is an important consideration in the Third Ward design guidelines. View 4: From this angle the relation of the gallery to the park is more evident. On street level, the gallery opens up to form an extension of the park and the pedestrian space.

  3. View 6: This view is looking in from the opening on the southeastern corner of the gallery. It shows the structural rhythm flowing through the main gallery space. View 5: This view is looking in the main entrance on Broadway to the main gallery space on the third floor. The circulation path the circumvents this space on both levels can be seen.

  4. View 7: This view is looking down on the main gallery space from the catwalk in front of the gallery director’s office. I felt that it would be important for the director to have easily accessible visual access to the main gallery.
