  1. ASL 1-Get ready for presentations! begin in 10 min.or so ( get your comp. books ready)  • Grade recovery reminders- I will still take signing time make-ups so get them in asap!  Written #1-18-late credit still accepted. • For each day missed you must do 20 min. of signing time- you know you have received credit when the comment field says “+signing time”. In addition, you must get Doorbusters and other specific information we learned- see my website for PowerPoints, or me during tutorials. • Exception: if it was a “written assignment day”, you must complete the written work instead of signing time.- Assignments are on my website. • Signing time options: • Sign with someone, or work on current assignments alone or with someone (sign together/alone, study vocabulary lists, work on ASL project, etc.). Please write down what you did for the time, and get a parent/guardian signature (or have them email me). • Watch Deaf culture information on TV or online (example: DeafTV, “Switched at Birth”, documentaries, or Deaf vlogs, news, etc.). If you choose this option, please write down what you watched and at least one thing you learned or saw regarding Deaf culture –and get a parent/guardian signature (or have them email me). • Attend a Deaf event- this can be at your church, a Deaf community social, or any other setting where you are signing (or watching signing). Please write down what you did, and some signs you learned- or something cultural you learned–and get a parent/guardian signature (or have them email me).
