IPFIX WG Meeting, IETF 55 • Introductory Remarks: • Rumours about changing IPFIX charter: the charter has not changed since the group started working, there is no need to do so now • Any new proposed standard has to support the minimal user configuration, i.e. all the things people do now using one-way transport • We must also strive to see that we don't make a 'base level' standard which could prevent applications from building on top of IPFIX • 'Version 2' is always possible. But we have to get the base level completed first!
