  1. A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience Tenth 21st Century SFLEP Cup National English Speaking Competition Year 4 student of BA (Hons) English Language Teaching Cheung Ah Yuk, Iris has demonstrated her accomplishment in the English language by winning the Second Runner-up, Most Graceful Speaker Award and SFLEP Creativity Award in the Tenth 21st Century SFLEP Cup National English Speaking Competition held in Beijing. The National English Speaking Competition, organized by China Daily and Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press, is an annual speech contest that gathers the best English speakers in universities in China. This year, more than 500 universities sent a representative to take part in the contest.

  2. For the speech, I just wanted to say something new and special, something that others would normally overlook. In the Q & A session, I gave sincere answers from my heart and said what I really thought. Instead of coming up with an answer that might seem more appealing to the judges, it would be a good idea to say something original Other than the trophy and certificate, Iris has won two cash prizes and a two-week immersion programme to Cambridge University. And what’s more, it is ─ A Once-in-a Lifetime Experience !!!
