Who will you emulate? Follow my example, as I follow the example of christ
Matthew 7:13 • “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, andmany enter through it. • Why?
Following the crowd… We want to fit in… Too often my answer was… • We learn so much through observation…
emulate • to try to equal or excel; imitate with effort to equal or surpass: to emulate one's father as a __________________ ; to follow or copy. • It is a choice, who did you choose to emulate? • Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
Matthew 7 also mentioned… • “the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” • So, what’s the difference? • Remember, it’s a CHOICE. Let’s focus on the advantages of emulating our Lord in our life.
