Focusing Group Findings of the Current Workforce System • Employers – Training Providers – Workforce Professionals brought together to discuss the current system, the following is a summary of their discussion: • No clear mission • Too many entry points and to difficult to navigate • Lack of accountability • Different performance measures by program • Desired outcome are not aligned • Funding is not flexible • Programs are not marketed • Workforce partners competing for resources • Inconsistencies in program eligibility
