COUNSELOR CERTIFICATION The “Riddle of the Exporter” training on day one is a fun way to learn the basics of exporting. This full-day workshop prepares counselors for SBA Intermediate Level International Trade Certification. View webinars for additional training or take the online Intermediate Certification exam at www.export.gov/sbcounselors. Intermediate Certification satisfies the SBDC export requirements in the Small Business Act. There will also be an intensive Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) prep track available at ASBDC 2013 led by Jim Foley, Director of the Illinois SBDC’s Peoria International Trade Center. Attend all six workshops or only those topics where you feel you need extra help. The final window for SBA reimbursement of NASBITE CGBP registration/exam fee is December 2013.
