The 5th Regional JPO Workshop held in Hanoi on June 15, 2004, gathered key stakeholders to discuss the Partnership for Civil Society (PPWG) in Vietnam. With over 40 donors and 350 INGOs, the workshop highlighted strategies for improving people's engagement in development processes. The informal forum aims to foster dialogue, share information, and promote an enabling environment for civil society, even within Vietnam's unique socio-political context. Challenges, successes, and lessons learned were crucial in shaping future partnerships to enhance participation and resource coordination.
