Essential Care Guidelines for Silicone Hydrogel Contact Lens Users

This guide provides crucial information for maintaining the health and safety of silicone hydrogel (SiHy) contact lens wearers. Always clean and disinfect lenses upon removal, avoiding solutions like Clear Care. Swim without lenses and refrain from sleeping in them after swimming. Maintain regular eye exams every six months and have backup glasses with an updated prescription. Remove lenses during illness, and ensure you are 100% healthy to wear them. It's important to replace lenses monthly and remove them if experiencing discomfort or foreign body sensations.
