  3. Objectives • Educate Expo attendees about the diversity of Georgia agriculture • Promote Georgia agriculture through partnerships Expo-wide • Leave a legacy for future Spotlight States

  4. Diversity of Georgia Agriculture • Georgia’s #1 industry • Partners: state agencies, commodity groups, colleges & universities, industry: technology, innovation, production, agribusiness • Major focus is to show broad diversity of the agricultural industry

  5. Educational Exhibits • Exhibits: 8x10 panels across back wall of the building • Panels allow for future use – single or combined panels • Mural graphics depict diversity of Georgia agriculture • From ports in Savannah to the Capitol in Atlanta • All major commodities of Georgia agriculture • 3-D, with addition of factoid “popouts” • On foam core attached to mural using magnets – easy to customize for future uses

  6. Partnerships • Recognize key partners in Georgia ag • Encourage visits to partners to learn from the experts • Provide a map of with all partners. • Encouraged to visit partners, get a sticker on their map. Completed maps entered for a drawing.

A Legacy • Priority: a legacy for future Spotlight States • Permanent building for Spotlight State exhibit • Similar to Farm Credit building, an open and inviting exhibition area • Inlay state seals into the concrete floor to recognize SE states at Expo • Building constructed at a basic level, adaptable for future Spotlight States
