  1. 10 Ways to Promote Your Child's Cognitive Development Hold your kids close while talking or singing to them as they can see up to 10 inches. Use simple words and full sentences to help the kid learn words and sentence structure. Narrate as you do work to get them associate with your daily routines. Repeat phrases slowly and clearly to build word memories Go on field trips, play outside, and put on music to develop kid's sensory perception.

  2. 1.Sing along with your baby Singing along songs can develop their word identification skills. Repetitive hearing of rhymes and children's songs can be very beneficial for kids. 2.Help your child identify various noises Point out specific sounds to your kids Let them hear the sounds of various animals and objects. 3.Familiarize them with alphabets Sign and read alphabets out loud to familiarize them with the letters. They would know how a letter looks and sounds with alphabet games. 4.Practice counting numbers Whatever you are picking up or putting away, start counting with your kids. They would learn the order and sequence of numbers actively. 5.Sort out shapes and colors Whenever possible, point out the colors and shapes. It would help them learn about signs and organize things effectively. 6.Let them choose Let your child decide on what to wear, what to eat etc. Allowing them to choose would make them feel independent and confident. 7.Let them find answers to your questions Ask them tons of questions about basic things. It would help them develop their problem-solving ability. 8.Visit places Visiting new sites will encourage their curiosity. Such little adventures can make them learn new things.
