Comparison between CATCERA and Honeycomb/Corrugate – Operating Principle • Notes: • Composition of exhaust gas differs from fuel types. • Ammonia concentration is higher than regulation, and NOx conversion ratio will be up to 85%. Because of fly ash, surface of honeycomb/corrugate is covered by alkaline oxides such as CaO, MgO, etc in one year to degrade SCR catalytic function for coal fire boilers. • Ammonia is oxidized to NOx. • Lower ammonia concentration increases NOx Concentration. • Ammonia concentration is lower than regulation, fly ash is captured by CATCERA and NOx conversion ratio will be up to 98%.
