  2. Survey questions 1) What is your favorite shoe brand? (Nike, Adidas, New Balance, etc…) 2) What is your favorite shoe color? 3) On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest, what is your opinion on Nike shoes? 4) Which do you prefer, shoes or no shoes? 5) What is your favorite style of shoe? (basketball, running, casual, etc…) 6) How many pairs of shoes do you own? 7) On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest, how important are shoes in your life?

Green Hope’s addiction to shoes • In this survey we randomly asked every 5th student we saw in the hall way questions about their opinions on shoes. • We asked each student 7 questions. • 40 students were surveyed throughout Green Hope. • We researched students opinions on certain types, colors, and brands of shoes, which is also how we accessed their interest. • In this survey our goal was to determine what style and brand was being worn the most by the youth of Green Hope.

  4. What is your favorite shoe brand? (Nike, Adidas, New Balance, etc…) Conclusion: Nike appeals to the students of GHHS far more than other brands.

  5. Conclusion: Students at GHHS prefer black shoes. What is your favorite shoe color?

  6. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest, what is your opinion on Nike shoes? • Mean: 4 • Median: 2.5 • Mode: 10 • Variance: 18 • Standard Deviation: 4.24

  7. Conclusion: Students have high opinions of Nikes shoes.

  8. Which do you prefer, shoes or no shoes? Conclusion: Shoes are preferred over no shoes.

  9. What is your favorite style of shoe? (basketball, running, casual, etc…) Conclusion: Casual shoes are more popular at GHHS than any other type of shoe.

  10. How many pairs of shoes do you own? • Mean: 5 • Median: 4.5 • Mode: 3 • Variance: 13.71 • Standard Deviation: 3.7

  11. Conclusion: Most student own at least 2-3 pairs of shoes.

  12. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest, how important are shoes in your life? • Mean: 5 • Median: 4 • Mode: 9 • Variance: 10.29 • Standard Deviation: 3.2

  13. Conclusion: Shoes for the most part are important to the lives of GHHS students.

  14. Conclusion • Shoes are for the most part important to the lives of students at Green Hope. Green Hope seems to be a school that’s in touch with Nikes fashion. Black is the most popular shoe color choice at Green Hope. Most people would rate Nikes shoes high on a scale of 1-10. They would also prefer shoes over no shoes. Casual shoes are the most popular types of shoes at Green Hope. The majority of students who like Nike at GHHS do not own too many shoes. So in conclusion, Nike has a connection with the students of Green Hope with their great casual shoes that appeal to the youth.
