Meeting Objectives • Inform you of our plans • Particular focus on Subtech 06 and Subsea 07 events • Some industry dialogue in preparing current plans • Get your feedback to these plans • Shape and refine events accordingly • Get buy-in and support for these plans • Create an industry network to: • Source interesting issues for presentation • Source high quality and high level industry speakers • Promote Subsea UK events within your own organisation • Get strong industry engagement with our Subsea UK events • Beginnings of an “Events Advisory Board”

Subsea 07: Utilise to Deliver • Main theme: • Vessel utilisation for subsea developments • People skills and attracting people into the subsea industry • Issues to be addressed: • Extent to which tieback solution is dictated by vessel availability • Vessel utilisation in wider context of a subsea development • Installation vessel capabilities: what is the international perspective? • Vessels for drilling, intervention, completion. Utilising vessels of opportunity • Contracting strategies to optimise utilisation • Maximising vessel uptime in harsh, deep conditions • Vessel construction plans; challenges and plans for deepwater • People resources and how Subsea UK is addressing this • Vessel utilisation for inspection and maintenance activities

Subsea 07 • Location: Aberdeen Conference & Exhibition Centre • Date: 8th February 2007 • One-Day Conference and Exhibition • 800 delegates, 80 stands (70% stands already booked) • Premier Subsea Event in the UK Calendar • Conference discussing key industry issues from industry leaders • Build up the international dimension • Networking Dinner the evening before the Event (7th Feb) • Current Issues • Securing 2 to 3 top industry speakers • Including an international speaker • Work with SDI and UKTI to attract international visitors • Put conference programme together

Subsea Solutions 07, Paris • Subsea Solutions had a strong seminar programme • Good operator involvement: Total, ExxonMobil, BP • Good format for Technology Session • Short technical presentations by innovative companies on a variety of technology issues • Strong focus on West of Africa • Strong support by Operator Participants to build on this format for 2007 • Keep a focus on West of Africa • Commitment to begin working on a programme for 2007 during third quarter of 2006 • Committee of operators and large contractors to be formed soon
