  3. Educational Requirements • Graduate with a bachelors or master’s degree • Accredited professional athletic training education program • Pass a comprehensive test administered by the Board of Certification (BOC) . BOC Board and Staff

  4. Average Salary • NFL- varies from $30,000 to $100,000 per year • MLB-varies from $39,640 to $60,960 • NHL-varies from $40,000 to 100,000, bonuses are given for championships • NBA-varies from $75,000 to $200,000 • All salaries are based on experience • Overall average if experience is good $80,111

  5. Job Outlook • Expected to grow 24 percent from 2006 to 2016 • More injuries means more rehab which means more trainers!
