  4. To recieve a permit • Pass classroom • Pass the Permit exam • Pass vision screening

  5. 3 Required Exams & Fees • Vision • Written • Driving • Permit $20 • Range (Driving practice class) $50-$200 • License $5 or $30 (depends on age)

  6. Restrictions Must be at least 18 unless: • You’re 16-17 • Successfully completed Class • Completed 50 hours of driving practice • Passed 3 Exams

  7. Address / Name Change Secretary of State must be notified with in… • 10 days for address • 30 days for legal name change

  8. License Classifications Class D- normal passenger vehicles Probationary – given during some suspensions Restricted Local – only allowed to drive in specific areas

  9. Renewing & Other Programs • Drivers responsibility • At 18, 21, every 4yr until 81 • Go to DMV, take tests, pay fees, take new photo • Organ/Tissue Donation Registry • Voter Registration • Selective Service – Only Males
