  3. Mary Apparition Description • Who? Sister Catherine Laboure was the first person to see Mary in the chapel. • What? A little 5 year old girl was the one who called Catherine to see The virgin Mary. • When? It was 11:30 and Catherine was sleeping, Then she heard her name being called. • Where? This happened at the Chapel Rue de Blac. • Why? Catherine saw the blessed Virgin Mary and knelt down and prayed to Mary.
