  1. The Features and Functions of a Fiber Optic Camera More details on https://www.sgcctv.com.sg/

  2. Features of a fiber optic camera This is the major feature of staple optics; they have superior signal frequency attributes compared to copper cable. They generate co-axial cable attenuation at a signal frequency of 3-5 MHz and can also be converted to 20 dB/km. In comparison to other transmitters, fiber optics attenuation is between 0.3 and 3 dB/km. This means fiber or staple optic transceiver can cover up to 60 km or more, depending on the precise details of application. Since these transceivers feature a conversion of low fiber signals, it can also function as a transmission of multiple video signals over long distances.

  3. Information Security and Safety Operations • Unlike traditional copper cables, fiber optics does not radiate any signals. As a result, these optical cables are virtually immune from wiretapping. The signal frequency is difficult to access for unauthorized parties. There is no risk for installation of fiber or staple optic. It can act as the ignition source for all multiple signals. It can also be used in hazardous environments such as chemical and petro-chemical sites, providing an "intrinsically safe" transmission route; however, this safety may not extend to the electro-optic transmission routers and modems. It may not be guaranteed safe and protected compared to other electrical equipment.

  4. Accurate use of duct space Fiber optic transceiver features small and durable lenses. It has protective sheathing applied in different phases, depending on the installation area, to build up the fiber into a multipurpose cable. This cable is suitable for both internal and external use. Generally, its coaxial cables can produce significant savings over copper where there is not enough installation space or where duct space is often restricted.

  5. Resistance to electromagnetic interference • Fiber optic transceiver transmits signals as light pulses instead of electrical pulses. This light transmission process is not affected by the electro-magnetic materials. As a result, the transmissions can be utilized in other application where links are routed near energy conductors and other machines including tramways, power generator, railways, and automobile manufactured with welding machinery.
