4. نبذة تاريخية عن أعمال الاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات ذات العلاقة بالمدن الذكية • أنشأ الفريق المخصص المعني بالمدن الذكية المستدامة في شهر أبريل عام 2013 خلال اجتماع لجنة الدراسات الخامسة بقطاع التقييس. • اعتمد المؤتمر العالمي لتنمية الاتصالات لعام (دبي، 2014) مسألة جديدة بلجنة الدراسات 2 حول المسألة 1/2: إقامة المجتمع الذكي: التنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية من خلال تطبيقات تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات • عقد الاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات عدد من ورش العمل والمنتديات تطرقت إلى مختلف المواضيع ذات العلاقة بالمدن الذكية والمستدامة • عقد في شهر مايو عام 2015 بأبوظبي منتدى الاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات حول المدن الذكية والمستدامة. المنتدي الإقليمي للتنمية للمنطقة العربية السودان – الخرطوم 29 يناير 2017 4

5. ما هو إنترنت الأشياء تعرف التوصية Y.4000 بعنوان عرض عام عن إنترنت الأشياء مصطلح إنترنت الأشياء كالتالي: بنية تحتية عالمية لمجتمع المعلومات، تمكن الخدمات المتطورة عن طريق التوصيل البيني للأشياء (المادية والافتراضية) استناداً إلى تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات القابلة للتشغيل البيني القائمة والمتطورة والشيء في إنترنت الأشياء: هو كائن من العالم المادي (أشياء مادية) أو من عالم المعلومات (أشياء افتراضية) يتسم بإمكنية تحديده ودمجة في شبكات الاتصالات. المنتدي الإقليمي للتنمية للمنطقة العربية السودان – الخرطوم 29 يناير 2017

6. ما هي المدن الذكية والمستدامة وافق الفريق المتخصص المعني بالمدن الذكية المستدامة في اجتماعه الخامس في يونيو 2014 على تعريف المدينة الذكية والمستدامة وهي: المدينة الذكية والمستدامة هي مدينة مبتكرة تقوم على استعمال تكنولوجيات المعلومات والاتصالات وغيرها من الوسائل لتحسين نوعية الحياة وكفاءة العمليات والخدمات الحضرية والقدرة على المنافسة مع ضمان تلبية احتياجات الأجيال الحاضرة والمقبلة فيما يتعلق بالجوانب الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والبيئية المنتدي الإقليمي للتنمية للمنطقة العربية السودان – الخرطوم 29 يناير 2017

8. في كل ثانية يزيد عدد سكان المدن بمولودين يتوقع أن يبلغ عدد سكان المنطقة العربية 598 مليون نسمة بحلول عام 2050 في العالم، أكثر من 750 مليون نسمة يعيشون في المناطق الحضرية دون مأوى ملائم وخدمات أساسية يتوقع بحلول عام 2050 أي يعيش 70% من سكان العالم في المناطق الحضرية والمدن ثلث سكان البلدان النامية يقطنون في الأحياء الفقيرة والمستوطنات العشوائية

New Resolution 98 Enhancing the standardization of Internet of things and Smart Cities and Communities for global development Highlights of this Resolution: • Considers the importance of IoT to contribute to achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. • Resolves to instruct ITU-T SG20 to develop ITU-T Recommendations aimed at implementing IoT and SC&C. • Instructs the Director of TSB to continue to support the United for Smart Sustainable Cities Initiative (U4SSC), launched by ITU together with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) in May 2016, and share its deliverables with ITU-T Study Group 20 and other study groups concerned. 25 October – 3 November 2016
