  7. With the Mission, Scan and SWOT in Mind… Goals: A future situation to be achieved through focusing of organizational resources. Objective: A general approach for accomplishing the Goal, and often an array of Objectives are pursued to help ensure the Goal is realized. Strategic Action: Specific, concrete activities by individuals or teams that will accomplish an Objective.
