  2. All About him • King Tut was born in 1341 B.C.E. • King Tut’s name meant Aten. • Aten was the sun disc, and a god they worshipped.

King Tut’s Father • King Tut’s father said they could only worship Aten the sun disc. • Akhenaten (Tut’s father) caused a religious panic which caused Egyptian culture to go into chaos. • He only said he wanted to raise Aten’s power, though it seemed like he was trying to get rid of the other gods.

  4. Family • The year king Tut took power he married his half sister Ankhesenamun. • Ankhesenamun was also the daughter of Nefertiti. • They then had two kids.

  5. Random Facts • Tutankhatenwas his original name he then changed his name to Tutankhamun. • Since he was so young when he took power Ay a guy who had the title of Vizier.
