Instructions: • Together along with a partner(assigned by the teacher) you will take a field trip of the Underground Railroad. • Please follow instructions exactly as they are stated in the following slides. • You are to answer all questions by writing the correct answers on your worksheet. Each is worth two points. • BTOJ is short for “Back To Our Journey” • If you have questions please raise your hand, and remember to be respectful of other groups. • Don’t share answers with other groups. Remember you and your partner will receive the same grade so work well together. • HAVE FUN!

Following the Trail of the Underground Railroad • You are now going to start your field trip. • When you click on the “Underground Railroad” icon below you will begin the journey. • Once on your trip begin reading and when you come to it click on Sam and Jane. • Answer questions 1 and 2 on your worksheet. • Then return to this slide. (to return to this slide simply close out the Underground Railroad screen) • Click here now Underground Railroad • Next

Continuing our trip: • This time when you return to your trip you should continue reading and click on border area between Kansas Territory and Missouri. • Answer question 4 • Click BTOJ(Back to Our Journey) • And Return to this slide(again by closing out that screen). • Click here now Underground Railroad • Next

More of our Journey: • Now when you return click on Trading Post • Here you will find the answers to questions 5 and 6. • Then click on BTOJ and continue reading. • In this reading you will find the answers to questions 7,8,9,and 10. • Once you have finished this close out the screen and return here. • Underground Railroad • Next
