Where are we? • Both the .NET and Java teams have reached a 1.0 beta release of the reference implementation • SMTP stack • DNS responder • Admin/config tooling • Bare metal documentation • At least three other implementations exist as well • VisionShare • MedPlus • Health-ISP • Pushing for a 1.0 release within a few weeks • 1.0 beta • XD* • Stable release 2

Connect-A-Thon • Last Code/Connect-A-Thon focused on getting instances stood-up an configured (bare metal) and basic integration testing • Very successful • Resulted in quality bare metal documentation • This Code/Connect-A-Thon focused more on interoperability • Already have instances stood-up • Want to test them against other implementations 3

  4. Connect-A-Thon • Goals • General interoperability • Test the new Java DNS responder • Test the new .NET admin tools • Test the bug fixes that have recently been committed • Time permitting • Demo of Java DNS • Volume testing • MDN testing • Would be nice to have a standard set of test cases 4
