  1. Spelling Words – week 3

  2. Lion • A large carnivorous mammal (male) أسد Lioness (female)

  3. little • Small in size, number, or time قليل • My little sister likes to draw

  4. high • at or to a great point, place, or level عالي • I got the highest score in class. • Opposite (low)

  5. tickle • to poke  lightly with the fingers, a feather as to make someone laugh يدغدغ

  6. kind • Nice and helpful to others طيّب • It is kind of you to help people in need

  7. direction • The line where anything lies اتجاه • There are four main directions: south, north, east, and west.

  8. mighty • Great in size or position عظيم • The mighty high mountains always astonish me.

  9. still • remaining in place or at rest مازال/ ثابت • We need to stay still during a test.

  10. night • the time of darkness between sunset and sunrise. ليل • We should sleep all night and work all day.

  11. nibble • to bite off small bits يقرض • My cat nibbled my hand. It didn’t hurt though.
