  4. Edinburgh backpackers hostel €20 per night = €80 for four nights www.hostelworld.com Food budget = €15 per day + €15 per night for going out.

  5. Hitchhike to Leeds…Less safe, but transport in the UK is expensive, so hitchhiking means we can spend more money on food and going out, and meet people on the way! Distance from Edinburgh = 325 kilometres, so it would take about half a day.

  6. 3 days in Leeds… • City Art Gallery • Central Market • Visit Uni friends • Good shops so €50 budget for shopping • €10 per day for food, €15 per night for going out We can couchsurf to save money and if we stay with a student they can show us fun places to go out.

  7. Hitchhike to London Distance Leeds - London = 315km so if we leave early we can get to London by lunch time.

  8. 5 days in London… Free things: Art Galleries and Museums e.g. TATE MODERN

  9. Swimming lakes in Hamstead Heath PARKS Wild deer in Richmond Park

  10. MARKETS Camden Bricklane

  11. NOTTING HILL CARNAVAL!!!…last weekend of August Music - Reggae, dub, dance, calypso, samba, house, RnB Parades, costumes, live dance and music performances.

  12. Paying things… • Royal palaces e.g. tower of london, hampton court palace = €10 per person • Travel is very expensive - €10 per day • Food is also expensive - €20 per day • Going out can be expensive but depends - €40 for 5 days.

  13. RIDESHARE TO CORNWALL Ridesharing = cheaper than train or bus, but it’s difficult to hitchhike out of London. Distance London - Cornwall 400 km, so will take around 5 hours and cost around €30

  14. 4 days in Cornwall… • HELP EXCHANGE: • Work on a strawberry farm • Work for 3 hours in the morning, stay in a farmhouse with family. • Free food and accomodation. During the days we can relax, go to the beach, learn to surf, visit some villages. I am including a budget of 50 euros for cornwall for ice cream etc.
