  1. EB-5 VISA INVESTMENT ESTIMATED COSTS Know the expected costs of each stage in the EB-5 visa process.

  2. An EB-5 investor must file three separate petitions to complete the EB-5 process. The petitions are filed with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). 1. IMMIGRATION PETITION BYALIEN ENTREPRENEUR – FORM I-526 2. APPLICATIONTOREGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE ORADJUSTSTATUS–FORM I-485 3. PETITION BY ENTREPRENEURTOREMOVE CONDITIONS ON PERMANENT RESIDENTSTATUS - FORM I-829

  3. BREAKDOWNOFFEES FOR EACHSTAGEORPETITION Breakdown is based on an investment of $900,000, the amount required for investments in a targeted employment area (TEA).

  4. FIRSTSTAGE: FILING FORM I-526  Initial Investment Capital: $900,000  Initial Application Fee (to be paid to USCIS): $3,675  Other fees that may be included: report writing fees, attorney’s fees, and money transfer fees Estimated Total Cost: $903,675 + administrative fee + attorney’s fees

  5. SECONDSTAGE: FILING FORM I-485  USCIS filing fees per family member over age 14: $1,140  USCIS filing fees per family member under age 14: $750  Other USCIS processing fees: $490  Other fees that may be included: money transfer fees and attorney’s fees

  6. THIRDSTAGE: FILING FORM I-829  USCIS processing fee: $3,750  Other fees that may be included: processing fees, attorney’s fees, and money transfer fees
