  2. Generators are… • BASED ON THE CONCEPT OF ELECTROMAGNETIC INDUCTION. • You induce an electromagnetic current with the use of a magnet and a solenoid

  3. One type of generator is… • Called dc which stands for direct current. • it spins the conductors in a still magnetic field. This magnetic field is rotated by the alternator and is cut by the stationary conductors.
