  5. 5 Venue : Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Cost £ y y = the area of a square with a perimeter of 2000 units

  6. 6 The cost of the lighting rig and pyrotechnics = £y000 y = the non-prime y coordinate of the point of interception of: y = x2 – 8x – 4 and x + y = 26

  7. 7 Find the fifth three point moving average of the data to find the cost of security.

  8. 8 The cost of catering is the same as the number of people who choose mineral water at the bar. Customers at the bar choose either beer, cola or mineral water. They either prefer Bowie, Radiohead or Metallica. Probabilities: P(customer chooses beer) = 0.4 P(customer chooses mineral water) = 0.1 P(customer likes Bowie best) = 0.37 P(customer likes Metallica best) = 0.39 The number of customers choosing cola who prefer Radiohead is 15,000.

  9. 9 Cost of colour coded M & Ms is the same as the volume of cone Q P Q The cones are similar. The ratio of the heights of P to Q is 3:2 The volume of P is 30.375 cm3
