  1. ` Presents The Trinity Verses The Atonement Part (1) Compiled and Illustrated from The study of The Word of GOD And The Spirit of Prophecy, September 2013

  2. “After the passing of the time in 1844, we had fanaticism of every kind to meet. Testimonies of reproof were given me to bear to some holding spiritualistic theories. There were those who were active in disseminating false ideas in regard to God. Light was given me that these men were making the truth of no effect by their false teachings. I was instructed that they were misleading souls by presenting speculative theoriesregarding God. I went to the place where they were and opened before them the nature of their work. The Lord gave me strength to lay plainly before them their danger. (Testimonies Volume 8, page 292, 293) Introduction It is said that the doctrine of the Trinity is one of the most important doctrines of the Christian faith. However, in recent times many Christians are beginning to question its validity. It is a fact that many of the early Pioneers did not believe in the doctrine of the Trinity. This doctrine did not begin to take a more decided hold on the members of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church until after the death of Ellen G. White, who testified while she was alive that…..

  3. Ellen G. White has testified that Light was given to her that men were making the truth of no effect by their false teachings. they were misleading souls by presenting speculative theoriesregarding God. Light is given of GOD to reveal The Truth of GOD, but if The Truth has no effect on the souls of the people, then they remain in darkness.

  4. Many profess Christians will openly confess that they see no problem with The Trinity doctrine. And this in itself reveals their condition of being members of the Laodicean church, which is rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; yet, they know not that they are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. What is the danger? What is the problem?

  5. They say that they are rich, but they are not rich with The Treasures of The Light of The Knowledge of The Glory of God, as revealed in The Face of Jesus Christ. Because, it is said, The Treasures that are given of GOD in Christ Jesus unto Life Eternal, it is a Mystery.

  6. “Few can discern the result of entertaining the sophistries advocated by some at this time. But the Lord has lifted the curtain, and has shown me the result that would follow. The spiritualistic theories regarding the personality of God, followed to their logical conclusion, sweep away the whole Christian economy. They estimate as nothing the light that Christ came from heaven to give John to give to His people. They teach that the scenes just before us are not of sufficient importance to be given special attention. Yet, it is said by Ellen G. White that….

  7. They make of no effect the truth of heavenly origin, and rob the people of God of their past experience, giving them instead a false science. (Selected Messages, Book 1, Page 203, par 1)

  8. Why is Ellen G. White called upon to testify on this important topic? The Lord has lifted the curtain, and has shown her the results that would follow the result of entertaining the sophistries advocated by some. -The spiritualistic theoriesregarding the personality of God, followed to their logical conclusion, sweep away the whole Christian economy.

  9. -They estimate as nothingthe light that Christ came from heaven to give John to give to His people. -They teach that the scenes just before us are not of sufficient importance to be given special attention. -They make of no effectthe truth of heavenly origin, and rob the people of God of their past experience, giving them instead a false science.

  10. “…we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life” (1 John 5:19, 20). Yet, John has reveal to us That, Which was revealed unto them. He said of The Word….

  11. John has testified, saying, We know that…. the Son of God is come, He has given to us an understanding, that we may know HIM that is TRUE, and we are in HIM that is TRUE [even] in HIS Son Jesus Christ. This is The TRUE GOD, and Eternal Life.

  12. But men were making The Light of Truth in knowing GOD of no effect by their falseteachings. It is said by the Biblical Research Institute in the Study “THE TRINITY IN SCRIPTURE” that…

  13. “Although the word Trinity is not found in the Bible (neither is the word incarnation), the teaching it describes is clearly found there. Briefly defined, the doctrine of the Trinity stands for the concept that “God eternally exists as three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and each person is fully God, and there is one God.””

  14. “Even though we may not be able to comprehend logically the various aspects of the trinity, we need to try and understand as best as we can the scriptural teaching regarding it. All attempts to explain the Trinity will fall short, “especially when we reflect on the relation of the three persons to the divine essence ...all analogies fail us and we become deeply conscious of the fact that the Trinity is a mystery far beyond our comprehension.”” Although the document presented by the Biblical Research Institute states clearly by the title “The Trinity in Scripture”, in the document it is clearly stated that “the word Trinity is not found in the Bible” However, speaking of the “Trinity” the document does say that “the teaching it describes is clearly found there.” And although it is stated within the document that the teaching of The Trinity is clearly found in Scripture, the document says…

  15. The word “concept” is not found in The Bible. Neither will you find the words “perception”, or “impression”, or the word “theory”. A theory is a hypothesis, a speculation, an assumption that someone has formulated to express a view of an idea of study and reasoning. The reasoning could be correct, or it could be incorrect.

  16. When Ellen G. White wrote about the spiritualistic theories concerning God, she was addressing the Pantheistic theories, which were not sustained by The Word of God. Yet, to the author of the theories, The Word of GOD did support his theories. His theories were given the name the Alpha of deadly heresies, because Ellen White also wrote of the Omega, which she said “will follow”.

  17. “There are in it sentiments that are entirely true, but these are mingled with error. Scriptures are taken out of their connection, and are used to uphold erroneous theories. The thought of the errors contained in this book has given me great distress, and the experience that I have passed through in connection with the matter has nearly cost me my life.” (Selected Messages, Book 1, Page 199, par 1, 2) Ellen G. White wrote about “Specious sentiments” seeming to be good, correct, sensible, logical without being as they seem, to fool by reasoning. “Scriptures are taken out of their connection, and are used to uphold erroneous theories.” (Selected Messages, Book 1, Page199, par. 1) She also wrote and said, ….

  18. “It is the constant effort of the enemy to remove these truths from their setting, and to put in their place spurious theories.” (Selected Messages, Book 1, Page 201, par 2)

  19. The word “discern” is found in The Bible. It is defined as (to recognize, acknowledge, know, respect, discern, regard) To regard something is to observe, pay attention to, pay regard to, notice, to recognize (as formerly known), perceive. The word “discern” also have another meaning, which is…

  20. To hear, listen to, obey To hear with regard to (perception by ear) of or concerning (having the power to hear) with attention or interest. To listen to with regard to understanding (language), to hear (of judicial cases), to listen. To obey with regard to giving heed, to consent, agree, to grant request, to listen to, yield to, to obey, be obedient.

  21. “One and another come to me, asking me to explain the positions taken in Living Temple. I reply, "They are unexplainable." The sentiments expressed do not give a true knowledge of God. All through the book are passages of Scripture. These scriptures are brought in in such a way that error is made to appear as truth. Erroneous theories are presented in so pleasing a way that unless care is taken, many will be misled. “We need not the mysticism that is in this book. Those who entertain these sophistries will soon find themselves in a position where the enemy can talk with them, and lead them away from God. Although the word Trinity was formulated by the Nicean Creed in AD 325, which was long after the age of the disciples, it has been confirmed by even those, who support the doctrine of The Trinity, that this word Trinity is not found in The Holy Scriptures, neither is it found in the writings of The Spirit of Prophecy. And like many, who were asked to explain the doctrine of The Trinity, there were individuals, who came to Ellen G. White, requesting of her to explain the doctrine that was being promoted by J. H. Kellogg. She said…

  22. “It is represented to me that the writer of this book is on a false track. He has lost sight of the distinguishing truths for this time. He knows not whither his steps are tending. The track of truth lies close beside the track of error, and both tracks may seem to be one to minds which are not worked by the Holy Spirit, and which, therefore, are not quick to discern the difference between truth and error” (Selected Messages, Book 1, Pages 202, par. 1, 2)

  23. Ellen G. White made it clear that there is no need of mysticism to understand and receive The True Knowledge of GOD. If there was no need for mysticism to understand The Knowledge of GOD, then she must have known The Truth to discern the error when she saw error being presented to the church. She said….

  24. It was represented to Ellen White that the writer of the book Living Temple was on a false track. He had lost sight of the distinguishing truths for his time. Lose sight of the distinguishing Truths False Track Truths for his time

  25. The track of truth lies close beside the track of error, and both tracks may seem to be one to minds which are not worked by the Holy Spirit, and which, therefore, are not quick to discern the difference between truth and error” False Track True Track He knew not whither his steps are tending. Truths for his time

  26. Through His servant John, Christ Jesus has Testified to those, who received Him, as The Word of GOD. He said, “…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). If we are to be following The Way by The Truth, Who Leads to Life, then we are to be “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2).

  27. Christ Jesus is The way, The Truth, and The Life unto The Father. He is also The Author, and The Finisher of Faith. Through John, He also said, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty” (Revelation 1:8). 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Sabbath The Author- Alpha The Finisher- Omega The Way The Truth The Life Which Was Which Is Which Is to come Beginning End The Track of Time

  28. “He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God…” (John 3:31-34). If Christ Jesus is The Author and The Finisher of our Faith, and men choose to follow and trust inthe spiritualistic theoriesregarding the personality of God, rather than The Gift of Faith in GOD’S Word, Who is The Truth of GOD to men, then the logical conclusions of the spiritualistic theories presented by men will sweep away the whole Christian economy. In testifying of Christ Jesus, John said,…

  29. If The Testimony of Christ, of What He has seen and heard is given to men in The Scriptures, and men with a veil over their minds see and receive not His Testimony, then the veil of their own imagination has taken the seat of their minds to shut out The Light of Truth in GOD’S Word from reaching their hearts and souls. If the whole Christian economy has been affected by the doctrine of The Trinity, then how does the doctrine sweep away Christ Gospel of what He has seen and heard, as a Faithful and True Witness of GOD?

  30. “…he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure [unto him]. The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand” (John 3:34, 35). And how does The Trinity doctrine sweep away the need for The Atonement to become One with GOD? From the testimony of John, it has been revealed that…

  31. Many have been led to follow a false track. And they have lost sight of the distinguishing truths for this our time. And they know not to where their steps have been leading them. Lost The Track of Time. False Track True Track

  32. He also said, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty” (Revelation 1:8). The Ending The Beginning Christ Jesus said He is The way, The Truth, and The Life unto The Father. He is also The Author, and The Finisher of our faith. False Track True Track

  33. We are living in the time of the end, and many do not know where they are standing. John said of Christ Jesus, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:36).
