  2. WHAT IS THE WARRIOR TRANSITION PROGRAM? The Navy developed the Warrior Transition Program (WTP) in an effort to facilitate IA Sailors’ return from deployment. WTP provides an opportunity for Sailors to unwind, decompress, and turn in their issued weapon(s) and gear before returning to the States. In addition, WTP offers a series of briefs and workshops designed to prepare Sailors for the challenges they may face as they transition back home.
