Effect of N/P Ratios on Cellular Uptake of Fluorescent dsRNA/PDGL Complexes in KB Cells

This study examines the influence of varying N/P ratios (5:1, 10:1, and 20:1) on the uptake of fluorescent dsRNA complexed with PDGL in KB cells. After 24 hours of treatment, cellular fluorescence was assessed using a fluorescence microscope, revealing the effectiveness of each ratio in facilitating dsRNA uptake. The results demonstrate the importance of N/P ratios in enhancing cellular delivery of RNA-based therapeutics, providing insights for optimizing nanocarrier design in gene delivery applications.

  1. (A) (B) (C) Supp. Fig. 1. Effect of N/P ratios on cellular uptake of fluorescent dsRNA /PDGL complexes. KB cells were treated with fluorescent dsRNA complexed to PDGL at N/P ratios of 5:1 (A), 10:1 (B), and 20:1 (C). After 24 h, cellular fluorescence was observed under a fluorescence microscope. Scale bar: 100 mm.
