  2. รหัสหัตถการและการผ่าตัด(ICD-9-CM 2007) • ICD-9-CM คือระบบการจัดหมวดหมู่ของโรค ที่ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกาได้สร้างขึ้น โดยการดัดแปลงจาก ICD-9 ขององค์การอนามัยโลก เพื่อให้เหมาะสมกับการใช้งานในประเทศ โดยความร่วมมือของสมาคมแพทย์เฉพาะทางต่างๆ และแพทยสมาคมของสหรัฐอเมริกา ตั้งแต่ปี คศ.1978 (พศ.2521)
