Summer AP Calculus Institute at Loyola: Mastery Workshops and Prerequisites

Join the Summer AP Calculus Institute at Loyola from July 16th to 27th, designed to enhance mastery of AP Calculus prerequisites. Participate in three essential workshops, where attendance at the first is mandatory, and you can choose between the second or third. Workshop topics include Khan Academy resources, functions, and trigonometry/geometry. Conclude with a test on September 7th, which can serve as either a regular test grade or extra credit to boost your semester grade. Prepare effectively for AP Calculus this summer!

The Plan Tentative – Pending Approval • Loyola Summer Institute – July 16th– 27th • Khan Academy: Mastery of AP Calculus Prerequisites • 3 workshops: Must attend the 1st and either the 2nd or 3rd WSs • WS#1: 9-11 AM, June 19th – tutoring (Khan website & Functions) • WS#2: 9-11 AM, July 31st– tutoring (Functions) • WS#3: 9-11 AM, August 9th – tutoring (Trig/Geo)+ wrap-up • Test on Prerequisites on September 7th – • I’m deciding between two options for points. Either as a regular test grade or as Extra Credit worth enough points to raise your Semester 1 letter grade by as much as 10 points.
