  1. Clayton Perlman: Understanding Assessed Value Real Estate Professional Clayton Perlman understands the important factors that take to sell a home successfully and quickly. He defines assessed value as the value used by governing authority (i.e., either the local government or the condominium association) to levy a tax or fee on the property owner. Clayton Perlman as an agent, understands and looks at the assessed value when he's determining the value of a property. He shares that to get the accurate value will be to compare it to other like houses which have recently sold in the same area. Assessed value will not determine the current value of a property.
