Kite Design Group 6

This project outlines the engineering design process that led to the creation of a new kite aimed at improving casting distance for fishermen. We identified the need for longer casting methods and researched various kite designs. Through brainstorming sessions, we developed concepts that combined box and airplane designs to achieve optimal lift and reduced drag. Prototyping revealed important design modifications, such as increasing the surface area for stability during flight. This project merges creativity with engineering principles to enhance fishing experiences.
