The target audience for this summit includes community members, tribal health program staff, and others who are interested in or are already practicing preventing injuries in their communities. *All participants will receive an “Injury Prevention in Indian Country” Toolkit * Summit and Toolkit topics are: Child Safety Seats, Seatbelts, Helmets and Bicycle Safety, Elder Falls Prevention, Home and Fire Safety • Did you know? • Injuries are the leading cause of death for all Native Americans ages 1-44 • Injuries take the life of a Native American child each day • Injuries kill more Native American children than all other causes combined Attendance is FREE!
