  4. 2010年の登録臍帯血数は(予測） 現在 2010年の登録臍帯血数 細胞数(×108） 細胞数(×108） ６×108個以上 の登録臍帯血 20000個突破 ７年後 毎年3000件の臍帯血を登録できれば、6×108個以上の臍帯血が2万個登録可能になる。 既存登録臍帯血で利用されたものは、2003年度の利用率を参考にして差し引いて計算した。
