  2. The land • Location is southwest Asia • Landforms vast dry desert they have trouble with water • Water system They do not have a water system they have trouble keeping water and is very dry

  3. Land continued • Natural resources are oil and gas • They also have Ironore, petroleum, Gold And copper • In 2000 Saudi Arabia was responsible for 42.1% of the worlds crude oil

  4. Climate and vegitation • Some animals in the desert some animals are the Dung beatle, the Camal the Egyptian Vultrue and more but to long to list • The Climate is very hot and humid during the day • At nights the temperature drop very cold to 0 degress celsius • The winters are very harsh and cold even worse then ours

Government • A king named Abdullah rules the country and is like a monarchy • The Qur’an is what they role there country by (like there laws) • Government tries to spread Islam as one of there goals • King doesn’t have supreme rule cause they have other people with power like prime ministers • They only have one name on the ballet when voting

  6. History Current events • Some history in the 1900’s and 1940’s boundries were made between Jordan Iran and Kuwait • King Abdul Aziz died in 1953 • In august of 1990 Saddam Husseins forces invaided Kuwait • Current event they found alot of oil and now they are the richest in the region

  7. Economy • Its industrial country and mostly petroleum and oil based • There major export is oil and makes up 90% of there export money • there Currency is riyal • 97 out of 100 male youth children between 15 and 24 are educated

  8. Culture • The countries national dance is called the Al Ardha “it’s a folk ritual” • The culture is mostly Islam • Mecca and Medina “the holy places” • They pray five times a day • They dress strictly to the Hijab • They are forbidden to eat pork and drink alcohol

  9. Places to visit • There historical site is Mecca and Medina • Mecca,Riayadh,Habalah,Madain saleh cemitary are places visit in Saudi Arabiao
