  2. ~ Because there is a larger awareness that transcends time and space, an awareness is available after death ~ Krishna is a name of the Supreme. It means "all- attractive." Anything that might attract you has its source in the Supreme. Therefore the Supreme is also known as Rama (rhymes with "drama"). "Rama" means "the highest eternal pleasure. ~ Unknown

  3. The Bhagavad-Gita is the essence of Hinduism and a part of Mahabharata. It teaches the non-sectarian universal spiritual philosophy on the metaphysical science of the highest Reality. Lord Krishna, the speaker of bhagavadGita, is the Supreme Being reincarnate, who spoke in about 3,100 years BCE. The Gita gives a non-fearbased knowledge of the higher Self, and answers two universal questions: Who am I, and how I can live a happy and peaceful life in this world of dualities? It's a book of wisdom, yoga or spiritual growth that inspired Thoreau, Emerson, Einstein, Gandhi and many others. A repeated study with faith purifies our psyche and guides us to face the challenges of modern living leading to inner peace.
