  1. PHOTIOS By: Samantha Moody and Luis Ochoa

  2. About our Name • We chose the name Photios to represent our Utopia because it is the Greek term for light. We like to think of the perfect society as being very open and airy, we also see it as being very futuristic and scientific. We feel that this name represents light in a brighter future for our planet. Our society will bring an end to war and sadness, as well as the rest of Earths problems.

  3. Declaration of Independence • The formation of our “perfect” society was originally thought of, because of the corruptness of the modern world. It is full of war, disease, and hardships so we envisioned a world without these things. We feel that a world without these things will bring people peace, and let them be happy.

  4. Our Motto & Seal • Our motto is “The best is yet to come”, We feel that this motto will always give us hope that no matter how bad today is, the future will always get better. In our society our best is now but we will always strive to make ourselves better. • Our seal

  5. Our Animal • Our Utopian animal is the white tiger. To represent our name we chose a light animal but we also wanted it to be strong and defiant. The white tiger for us symbolizes that we are a more peaceful nation but we are still strong and fight for what is right.

  6. List of Rules • NO SMOKING OR DRINKING • MUST KEEP OUTDOOR AREAS AND WATERWAYS CLEAR • NO MURDER • NO RACIAL DISCRIMINATION • NO ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR • NO ANIMAL CRUELTY • MUST STAY WITHIN THE LEGAL SPEED LIMIT • NO DISRESPECTING OTHERS • NO DESTRUCTION OF ANOTHERS PROPERTY • NO Drugs

  7. Governing Body • Our utopia will be a democracy which means that us as government must meet the needs of the people. We will make our decisions based off of the will of the people, they will help us decide all of the societies decisions before we make them on our own. We will try our hardest to work with the people to make this the safest, cleanest, and happiest place there is.

  8. Invitation to Friends • We invite you to join us in our perfect society because we believe you will be happy here. Our society is a world without poverty and suffering one were everyone will be able to get along and live in peace with each other and animals. Our you utopia stands for light in a better future for our generation and the generations to come. We will welcome you into Photios with open arms and you will be treated as if you were here all along. We hope to see you here soon.
