  2. So Hagar bore Abram a son; and Abram named his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael. Genesis 16:15

  3. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him—whom Sarah bore to him— Isaac. Genesis 21:2-3

  4. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: John 1:12

  5. …who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:13

  6. The Law prohibits-Grace invites and gives! The Law condemns-Grace redeems! The Law says “do more”-Grace says “it is Done!” The Law curses-God blesses! The Law kills-the Spirit makes alive! The Law shuts our mouth-Grace opens it in praise! The Law condemns the best-Grace saves the worst! The Law says “pay”-Grace freely gives! The Law says “sin brings death-Grace says “God gives life!” The Law reveals sin-Grace atones for sin! The Law was given by Moses- Grace and truth from Jesus Christ! The Law demands obedience-Grace gives power to obey! The Law was written on stone-Grace is written on our heart! The Law brings bondage-Grace sets us free!
